Animoto video of a few who served ashore in the Crimea
Blog about, and on behalf of, Richard Ramsay Armstrong who died a hundred years go and has only just got his autobiography published. As a young man he served in the Royal Navy fighting the slave trade and then in the Crimean War. Then farming and exploring in NZ, planting in Fiji and government official on Lord Howe Island. These are not passages from the book - they are written as extras and the blog is intended to be read with the book.

ERRATA (gremlins!)
Two errata have been identified so far:
Two footnotes point the reader at "Appendix 3, RRA's Ships". That appendix doesn't actually exist - late on in the process we decided it was more interesting to include the correspondence with RRA when he first tried to get the book published, rather than the ship information. Unfortunately we failed to remove all the footnotes.
And, specifically, there is a footnote on page 211 directing the reader to a footnote about Evelyn Wood on page 181. This should read 189.
